The Idea

Dithering can add depth, texture, and character to digital designs, but finding the right effect often means jumping between tools or adjusting settings through trial and error. I wanted to make that process easier by creating a dedicated space where designers could experiment with different dithering styles, fine-tune their results, and create visuals without paying for an expensive tool.

What I did?

I designed and built Ditherlab as a browser-based creative tool, focusing on a straightforward workflow that puts visual experimentation first. I worked on the interface, the available controls, and the preset experience to make the tool approachable for designers while still allowing room for customization.

The Result

DitherLab brings image dithering into a simple, interactive workspace where users can experiment with effects, adjust parameters, explore presets, and export their results. The focus is on making the process fast and accessible, giving designers a practical tool for creating unique visual treatments without unnecessary friction. Free to use. Built for creative exploration.
